What we collect and why.

The Vice Club is operated from the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, and handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you apply we collect your name, mobile number, email address, the vehicle you drive, your Instagram handle if you give it, who referred you, any photo you upload, and your answers to our questions. If you are approved we also keep your membership status, event RSVPs, guest names and payment records.

Text messages

By applying you agree to receive text messages from The Vice Club about your application and, if approved, about membership and events. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Our application conversation is partly automated. A person reviews every application before any decision is made.

How we use it

To assess applications, run the club, arrange events, communicate with members, and process membership payments. We do not sell your information. We do not share member details with other members without your opt in.

Who we share it with

Service providers that help us run the club: our messaging provider, payment processor, hosting and email providers. Venues receive only what they need to host a night, such as guest numbers and first names.

Storage and security

Information is stored with reputable providers, access is limited to the people running the club, and we keep it only as long as it is needed.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time by contacting the club. Declined applicants can ask to be removed from the list.
